Town Creek Road, Lenoir City, Tennessee 865-986-3113 99  (06/22/2015)      Since the mid-ninety’s Aubrey’s has been delivering Real Comfort, Real Food, and it has been real good.  Initial locations were in Powell and Farragut with growth of the restaurant base in Bearden and a location on Middlebrook near Cedar Bluff, the chain extended itself to Cleveland, TN and branched out to own Bistro By the Tracks and other locations.  Aubrey’s is where the locals dine regardless of the location.  Knoxville born and Knoxville expansion, most items on the menu are available at all locations.  Selected locations offer an inside/outside bar/dining that is based on the evening temperature.  The inside bar is transformed by opening several glass sliding doors that include the outside dining tables into the bar area.  During the Lunch Crew’s visits, we have come to have our favorite menu items.  My guess is that our picks are also among the publics picks of choice.  On the appetizers menu, most order the Pizza Rockefeller as a lunch entree item.  Among the favorites on the rest of the menu is the Chicken Fingers and those watching calories or carbs, the Lemon-Lime Chicken.  On the sandwich menu The Rooster Sandwich takes the prize as the most ordered.  The Rattlesnake Pasta on the pasta menu seems to be popular with our crew also.  On the side menu items the Baked Squash takes the prize along with the Smashed Potatoes and of course with a sandwich the fries are the favorite.  On the vegetable of the day the Green Beans wins accolades for flavor. (periodically available).  Aubrey’s is one of Knoxville’s local favorites.  Where possible, Aubrey’s is a Farm to Table restaurant.    Papermill
