The Bistro is one of the few remaining full-service upscale restaurants in downtown. The Bistro is located immediately next to the Bijou Theatre. The atmosphere is a bit upscale, something you might expect to find downtown in a larger city. While offering a wide range of food, the menu is relatively simple.

Many restaurants in town proclaim they have the best burger, the Bistro does not. However, after you have tried one of the burgers, you will probably agree that it is one of the best in Knoxville. One favorite is the Black & Bleu which is topped off with real bleu cheese. The Bistro is one of the busier eateries in downtown and at peak times, it may be hard to get a seat. Service is fair, but when you have someone from the wait staff at your table, be sure to get what you need, with just a few workers, the staff is spread thin. Once you place your order, your food arrives timely.

The Bistro is not your typical downtown eatery. The restaurant offers full bar service with happy hour after work and a full Saturday Brunch. Being located next to the Theatre, it would be convenient for your next trip to the Bijou.

**APPETIZERS**
Baked Artichoke Hearts Topped with cheese and served with pita toast points.
Mushroom Caps with Crawfish Stuffing Broiled in butter & topped with parmesan.
Vegetarian Spring Rolls Served with Asian dipping sauce and hot mustard.
Buffalo Chicken Drumettes One dozen served HOT with bleu cheese dressing and celery.
Sundried Tomato Humus Made with tahini & garlic and served with pita bread, pepperoncini and black olives.
Spinach Con Queso Lightly spiced cheese dip with spinach served with tortilla chips.
Homemade Soups Made fresh daily with extra love and care.

**SALADS**
Salad Dressings: bleu cheese, ranch, caesar, thousand island, honey dijon, sesame Ginger.
Fat Free Salad Dressings: balsamic vinaigrette, and raspberry vinaigrette.
Teriyaki Chicken Salad Tender marinated breast, grilled and served over romaine lettuce with almonds, tomatoes, cucumbers and parmesan. Try it with our sesame ginger vinaigrette.
Smoked Turkey and Pear Salad Served over romaine with bleu cheese crumbles and walnuts with raspberry vinaigrette.
Caesar Salad Our version of the classic with Calmata olives, crouton, and parmesan with garlicky Caesar dressing (anchovies are available on request).
House Salad Romaine lettuce topped with tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and croutons.

**SANDWICHES**
Served with potato chips.
Smoked Turkey Club Premium smoked turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and pesto mayonnaise.
Turkey Reuben Served on toasted rye with sauerkraut, swiss cheese, and russian dressing.
Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich Topped with provolone cheese and served on a kaiser roll.
Buffalo Chicken Sandwich Blackened chicken breast dipped in our wing sauce, served with bleu cheese and celery.
Bistro Burger Eight ounces of lean ground beef cooked to order on kaiser roll add cheese, bacon or mushrooms for .50 cents each.
Black and Blue Burger Cajun seasoned burger topped with bleu cheese crumbles.
Grilled Fish Sandwich A six ounce portion of our fresh fish of the day served on kaiser roll with tarter sauce.

DINNER MENU

**ENTREES**
Complimentary house salad of cup of soup is served with our entrees.
Filet of Beef Tenderloin Our chef prefers to offer a variety of preparations, so please ask your server about tonight's presentation of our hand-cut 8 ounce prime beef.
Chicken Vesuvius Grilled chicken breast topped with a compote of tomatoes, capers, black olives, feta cheese, with olive oil and fresh parsley, served with potatoes.
Pork Loin Dijonnaise A Bristo favorite, pork medallions pan seared with dijon mustard, cream and rosemary.
Black Beans and Rice Cuban style black beans served over saffron rice and topped with fresh chili salsa, prepare with no meat products and minimal amounts of vegetable oil.
Black Beans and Rice Plus Your choice of Cajun Chicken or Grilled Pork Loin.
Shrimp Basilica Large tiger shrimp sautéed in sambuca butter with capers, olives and tomatoes served over your choice of rice or pasta.
Broiled Shrimp with Crawfish Stuffing A half dozen shrimp butterflied and broiled in butter, served with herbed rice.
Chicken and Artichoke Pasta and Sundried Tomato Broth Grilled chicken breast tossed with artichoke hearts, mushrooms and walnuts.
Fresh Catch of The Day Seasonal favorites served with complementary sauces and side dishes.

Three Egg Omelets Vegetarian or best western w/ ham & cheddar.
Steak & Eggs Seven ounce sirloin w/ 3 eggs to order.

French Toast Served w/ bacon or sausage and scrambled eggs.
