Copper Cellar, Cherokee Grill, and the Smoky Mountain Brewery.  Chesapeake’s flies fresh seafood in on a daily basis, so fresh, you might think Knoxville has an ocean nearby. Only one location of Chesapeake’s exists and that is in the central business district located in downtown Knoxville.  The location is convenient to downtown Knoxville visitors as well as visitors to the University of Tennessee.  The atmosphere is adorned with authentic nautical antiques and aquariums.  Reservations are accepted as well as upscale yet somewhat casual dining to downtown employees and city visitors.  Chesapeake’s can accomodate banquets and large dining groups. The menu offers fresh seafood to include, lobster, crab, shrimp, oysters, and the fresh catch.  Selected menu items are based on availability and may be seasonal.  Our Lunch Crew visits to Chesapeake’s has had mixed reviews.  Those with smaller appetites love the offerings but the bigger appetites prefer to dine elsewhere.  It seems that for the price, you get more at the chain seafood restaurants.  Filling the belly with bread is a minus in what might otherwise be a positive review.  At the least include slaw or salad with each entree.
