Avado Brands, the former owner of Applebee's brings you a new selection
in the Mexican food arena. You'll find that Don Pablo's does not
look like your typical regional Mexican Restaurant. However,
the inside gives you that Mexicana feel along with the neon lights and
the aroma of fajitas and fresh tortillas in the air.
Appetizers are available in the bar along with some very good margaritas.
The chips and salsa are great, and if you like it hotter ask for the "Salsa
Chili Macho", its free with your salsa and chips.
Dont eat too many of the chips, because what comes out on your plate will be more than enough to satisfy your appetite. DP's uses white meat chicken breast in all of their entrees. Most of the other Mexican restaurants tend to mix or use dark meat. Don Pablo's is home of the real enchilada, but due to overwhelming demand. DP's have now added burritos to the menu. The menu itself is periodically updated and new items are often added which keeps them menu fresh. The West Knoxville location has closed, but it's business as usual at the Knoxville Center location. |
