| This restaurant rocks! Gondolier is typically tucked away from the mainstream chain restaurants. The restaurants typically operate more like a family owned neighborhood restaurant. The atmosphere is casual and generally an abundance of staff are ready to serve customers. Upon entry you are greeted with a large display case of available desserts, some are oversized. Gondolier has one of the largest menus which offers a wide variety of items from salads to homemade Italian and Greek dinners. The pizza is perhaps the best found in Knoxville. Upon being seated and greeted by the wait staff, you are served with a basket of complimentary breadsticks. You will find something for everyone here and you won't go away hungry. Just remember, the to-go box is a part of most meals eaten here. |
