| Jalisco is a locally operated restaurant chain consisting of three locations. One location is off Cedar Bluff Road in the Food Lion Shopping Center and the others are on Maynardville Highway in Halls and on Illinois Ave. in Oak Ridge. The main draw here is the Mexican Buffet, which has practically anything you want. The buffet has plenty of meats, refried beans, enchiladas, self assembled tacos, burritos, cheese sauces, hot sauces, sour cream and lettuce. The big disappointment is the salsa. The house salsa is flat and doesn't have a good taste at all. The focus is on service and hot preparation of the food. This is not a fine dining establishment, but the food is well worth the trip. |
