     The American Cafe (always known locally as Silver Spoon) is owned and operated by Specialty Restaurant Group, which has had little success in operating it's restaurants (other than Silver Spoon) in East Tennessee. Silver Spoon has always had an exceptional variety of menu items. However, bothered with the bottom line, prices are high and quality has suffered.
     The last visit to the American Cafe displayed unattentive staff, poorly groomed/dressed wait staff, slow service (at a non-peak hour) and lower quality food products.
     In short, there are a lot of other restaurants that serve higher quality food and maintain a higher standard when it comes to hiring their staff. Look down the road before entering the doors at Silver Spoon (The American Cafe) because there is something better around the corner! Not recommended, even for our worst enemies.

LUNCH

**STARTERS**
Santa Fe Mini Chimis A spicy blend of chicken, spinach, black beans, corn, cilantro and jack cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla, then fried.
Spinach con Queso A spicy cheese and spinach dip with sour cream and warm tortilla chips.
Bruschetta Toasted French bread with a blend of fresh Roma tomatoes, basil and garlic, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
Buffalo Wings With celery and Bleu Cheese dressing.
Stars of Mozzarella Mozzarella cheese lightly coated with Parmesan and Romano cheese bread crumbs then fried. Served with marinara.
Artichoke Dip Artichokes, garlic and cheese sprinkled with Parmesan and baked. Served with warm, crisp tortilla chips.

Sierra Grill Flame grilled chicken breast with BBQ sauce, bacon, smoked provolone, jack and cheddar cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and scallions.
Bacon Cheddar Burger A flame grilled burger with bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, mayo and mustard.
Bleu Cheese Pepper Burger A half pound black pepper encrusted burger, topped with Bleu Cheese crumbles, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles and mayo.
Italian Melt Ham, pepperoni and bruschetta mix, drizzled with Italian dressing. Topped with smoked provolone and served on our Parmesan herb bread.

Burgundy Burger Our half pound "Knife and Fork" burger, encrusted with rosemary, thyme and garlic, drizzled with burgundy sauce. Topped with sautéed mushrooms and smoked provolone.
Cafe Club Our version of the classic with turkey, ham, Applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, smoked provolone and cheddar cheeses on two slices of wheatberry bread served with seasoned fries. Or try our combo - half of a club sandwich with seasoned fries and your choice of soup or side salad.
Meatball Sub Jumbo meatballs on our Parmesan herb bread topped with marinara and smoked provolone.
Cajun Chicken Cajun chicken breast with smoked provolone, lettuce, tomatoes and Cajun Ranch sauce.
