The Fieldhouse will operate as a family restaurant daily until 10pm or so and then it will operate more like a pub. Burgers, fries, wings and a whole lot more. |
 Tupelo Honey Cafe in Knoxville? A very distinguished cafe that recently opened a second location in Asheville, North Carolina has eyed a third location in Downtown Knoxville at One Market Square. The location that is adjacent to the Oliver Hotel and the former Market Square Kitchen. The chef operated cafe in Asheville is a recognized destination for chef inspired southern cuisine. The new location is expected to be operating by June. The cafe seats 150 and boasts a bar called the "Sweet Spot" that will serve moonshine cocktails, regional micro-brews and wine. |
 Bearden Starbucks Getting a New Neighbor Chick-Fil-A has announced plans to open a new location in Bearden adjacent to Starbucks at Knox Plaza but the Chick Fil A will actually open on Homberg Drive. Construction is underway with a Spring 2012 opening. The new location will include inside dining as well as a private meeting room and a drive-thru. Wi-fi will also be available. |
 Beautiful Brands Launches New Italian Fast Casual Concept The new concept will launch restaurant locations in Knoxville, Tennessee and Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2012. "The best words to describe this remarkable concept are fresh and authentic. Absolutely nothing can match the taste," said David Rutkauskas, BBI founder, president and CEO. "We're talking hand-crafted, made-from-scratch cuisine that is completely based on the Italian way of eating with fresh herbs and wholesome ingredients. Fresco Wood Fired Italian Kitchen will feature an open design with seating facing the kitchen and a wood-fired oven in the middle. Food prep will be visible to customers. Some of Fresco’s signature menu items will include: Made-from-Scratch Pasta, Pasta Santa Caterina—made up of fresh spaghetti with fresh chopped tomatoes, oregano, parsley, garlic, basil, and grated Parmesan; Marinated Chicken Panini with oven roasted tomatoes, Arugula, lemon, and Asiago; and Fresco Wood Fired Pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage, fresh rosemary, and crushed red pepper. |

Inspection Scores The State of Tennessee issued a press release indicating that Health Inspection Scores are now online again. As new inspections are recorded the inspection scores will be posted. A review today (01/19/2012) showed a few scores listed for 2011 but mainly the summer 2010 scores are still posted. |
