This is another one of Knoxville's old time neighborhood greasy spoon restaurants. A family tradition in North Knoxville with a waiting list at peak times. Time and the influx of higher quality restaurants seems to have made this once favorite just another hole in the wall. However, the food is respectable, all dinners are served with a salad, be sure to try the wonderful blue cheese dressing or the homemade Italian dressing on your salad. Louis Original Black Bottom Pie takes the prize for favorite dessert.

The New Louis Original Drive-In is located one block north of the original location. However, the area has changed with a new interstate intersection. From the original location go north through the signal and under I-640 and the restaurant will be on your left. This is where the former Mustard Seed restaurant was located.

Curb service is available every night after 4:00pm. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
