Served with red skin potatoes and juice. 7.99 Ciabatta Breakfast Sandwich* A large 'AA' fried egg, griddled ham, bacon, garlic spinach, tomato, cheddar cheese and citrus remoulade. 8.49 Order Online here.      Bob Evans lives on in Knoxville through Mimi’s Cafe.  Breakfast is a main draw and the crowds are around basically all day.  The Lunch Crew visited Mimi’s a few years ago and we were not impressed by the prepared offerings.  The menu sounds tasty and may vary daily, the management may have changed or whatever the excuse, we have just never found our way back.  When we visited, service was adequate, we were served with some tasty bakery offerings while we waited on our dishes to arrive from the kitchen.  When the dishes arrived, on one particular plate, there was a mound of mashed potatoes that was cold to the core and slightly crusty, no seasonings had been applied.  The Cobb Salad was visually perfect, but the lettuce just came from the beach (very dry).   The restaurant atmosphere is fun, yet loud at times.      This location has online ordering, call in to be put on the wait list for dining in or even call in your reservation.  There is also an outside patio for dining.  Starters and Small Plates Hummus Sampler Original and sundried tomato hummus with basil and feta.
