Chicken Thighs Market vegetables w/house sauce. Heirloom Salad Sliced heirloom tomatoes, basil goat cheese, local lettuce, lemon parmesan. Market salad Mixed local greens, market veggies, smoked herb vinaigrette. Market Pizza Roasted garlic oil base, mozzarella, vegetables, parmesan, served on whole wheat dough. Margherita Pizza Tomato, basil, mozzarella, tomato sauce served on whole wheat dough.  WHY PAY FULL PRICE?? The purveyors of the Plaid Apron Cafe just wanted the opportunity to start something in Knoxville so that they could work together, hence the neighborhood cozy cafe known as the Plaid Apron.  Serving up gourmet coffee menu with a breakfast and lunch food menu on a daily basis, except Sunday.  The restaurant strives for “green status” and has based their food menu on buying local and seasonal.  The location on Kenesaw Avenue has been the site of several failed restaurants, but Drew and Bonni has a new attitude and with limited menu items, has limited their expenses and hopes to create a truly community based cafe.  Drew draws his experience in food management as a graduate at Sullivan University in Louisville, KY.  He has worked at known restaurants in New Zealand and at the world renowned Blackberry Farms in Walland, TN.  N/A
